The Mid Coast, located south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula, is a pristine, picture coastline. The Mid Coast homes some of Australia’s premier surf breaks, as well as arguably some of Australia’s most stunning coastlines and beaches.

Along the Mid Coast, there are many different points and breaks that can be found, many of these being local knowledge, passed down through generations of surfers in the area, but renowned to many surfers around Australia as some of the best surf spots.

The traditional custodians of the Mid Coast region are the Kaurna people, who lived throughout the Adelaide plains region. We pay our respects to the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of this land.

The culture

Talk to any local, or anyone who’s ever visited The Mid and they will tell you about the unique, unreal, just plain awesome culture that is here. Locals on The Mid just love to live for the moment, they don’t care about the stresses and problems life throws at them, they will always find a way to have fun and just enjoy life. It is a cultured that is only raised and bread on The Mid. It’s formed as what can only be seen as a cross between surfers, musicians, bogans, true blue aussies, mates, a community, hard workers, just genuine characters and so much more. Words cannot describe the culture and the people of The Mid, or just how awesome it is, unless you visit here and witness it for yourself, you can never get a true understanding.
